Lay your phone on a roof surface or against a rafter and Roof Pitch reads the slope instantly — as rise over 12, in degrees, and as a percent grade. Pro adds the calculators that follow from that number: common, hip and valley rafter lengths, roof area and squares, and a shingle and underlayment takeoff.

Everything runs on your device. There is no account, no sign-in, and no server — the app has nothing to send and sends nothing.

Accuracy and safety: Roof Pitch is an estimating aid for professionals and competent DIYers. Readings depend on your device's motion sensors and on how flat the phone sits against the surface, so always verify critical dimensions on site before cutting material or placing an order. Working at height is dangerous — the app is not a substitute for proper fall protection, and no measurement is worth an unsafe position on a roof.
